Now, on with the show:

For those of you who are viewing this humble log for the first time, I want to remind you that some of my posts are intentionally incendiary and anger-provoking for a reason; ask someone a question, and they can blow you off. Really piss someone off, and then you start to learn something. Although, I still stand by most of my posts (I am especially proud of the MLK letter I wrote to the undergraduate university I attended).

I know that as of late I have been derided for being pedantic, picky or overly-semantic, (or all three, you take your pick) but I want to clarify my stance on language and how important it is to use it properly. I am not overly picky concerning spelling errors or grammar as it pertains to debate (although they personally grate on me), where I am concerned with the phenomenon of using words that have no clear meaning, or have multiple meanings and are used sloppily and interchangeably (hence the great nature debate, for those of you who missed out).

Anyhow, with my passion for writing, debating and general online shenanigans refreshed, I hope that you find this little log useful, informative and thought-provoking, to say the least.
